The Northern Pacific Region informally called the Goldest Coast, is a big draw for knowledgeable surfers, as well as aspiring wave riders, because the ocean offers all kind of breaks, including beach, reef, river mouth and points.

Altough constant offshore winds during the dry season months of December trough March make days of glory for surfers. Guanacaste and Jaco Beach are unique because the storms of the rainy season actually brings up largers swells, making the breaks here even more ideal (April trough November).

Potrero Grande Beach

This beach is famous for the endless summer. This beach has an easy take off, nice face, fast and hollow waves and works with low tide.

With no road at beaches acces, Potrero Grande Beach is just reachable by boat from Playas del Coco.

Playa Naranjo

Located in Santa Rosa National Park. We have a important advice for all surfers in Costa Rica. Remember that during the rainy season months of July trough November acces to shore is closed.

Playa Naranjo has strong wings creating beach breaks in all directions working with with high tide.

Playa Grande

Located inside Las Baulas National Marine Park. Playa Grande Beach is stunning to surifing! We`ll find a pristine beach just north of Tamarindo offer the most consistent surf in the area breaking left and right with multiples peaks that starts hours before high tide and keep going well after.
